As part of Activities in the Park, RiverConnect are holding an interactive Turtle event on Friday 27 January.
Presented by experts from Turtles Australia, attendees will discover the variety of freshwater turtles that live in our local waterways, with a rare opportunity to view turtles up close and learn more about the lives of these interesting reptiles.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s Manager Environment Greg McKenzie encouraged people to come along.
“This is a great family friendly school holiday activity where the kids can learn about turtles and have fun at the same time.” Mr McKenzie said.
