Get Mooving App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is to be read in conjunction with the Greater Shepparton City Council Privacy Policy and Website Privacy Statement.

For legal purposes, the provider of the Get Mooving Greater Shepparton mobile app ("the App") is Greater Shepparton City Council, located at 90 Welsford Street, Shepparton VIC 3632, Australia. 

Greater Shepparton City Council manages your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). 

Any personal information you submit via the App (including name, email address and phone number) is collected to process your enquiry or submission.  It is disclosed to Active Living Department employees for this purpose and may be disclosed to other areas of Council to administer your enquiry. If you do not provide the requested information, we may be unable to reply to your enquiry.

   This privacy policy explains how The App treats personal information when you create an Account.
   • Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, email address or phone number.

   1. The App's service is provided by using the hosting services of Google.
   2. Your account information is password-protected.
   3. The security of all data is very important. The App implements the following measures: protection of servers by firewalls, SSL connections and encryption of sensitive data. This list is not exhaustive.
5. Geo Location
   When you use the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location and display a location map with relevant content, however this is not required in order to use the app. We will not share your current location with other users or partners. 
6. Camera
   Our in-app forms may require access to your device's camera in order for you to send your images through the app. All images sent authorise the app owner to use accordingly.
7. Communications
   Where appropriate we may send you communications relating to the services, such as product updates and improvements and service provision.
8. Responsibility & Liability
   The App's service may contain hyperlinks to other website, other third-party providers or services or advertisers. The App has no control over the content, websites or services of these third-parties. This Privacy statement only applies to Personal Data that has been gathered through The App's services.
9. Data Removal
   You may request removal of your data at any time by emailing support. However core functions of the service, and user experience may be compromised with the removal of any data stored within the services.
10. Changes to this Policy
    This policy may be updated at any time, for any reason.
